Jody Smith
Owner | Stylist
For as long as Jody can remember she has had a passion for all things hair. From the time she was in high school she knew she wanted to go to Cosmetology School one day. As soon as Jody graduated she went to Pensacola Junior College which was a Redken school and got her cosmetology license. She has been doing hair for 34 years.

Jody has traveled the US with her husband while he was active duty in the USMC and has gained clients at each location she has lived. She specializes in men, women, and children's haircuts and color. She loves working with hair and is happy that her passion has helped her make a living and is her way of helping make people happy.

Jody is outgoing and loves to laugh. She also enjoys getting to know her clients not only as customers but as friends. She has owned two hair salons. One salon was in Tampa, Florida and the other was in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. She maintains friendships with many of her clients from all these years of service.

Jody resides in Kearney with her husband and son. She also has two grown children, a son in law, and two grandchildren who she loves spending time with.

Lisa Burchell

Lisa was born in Kearney, Nebraska and was raised in Ravenna, NE and graduated from Ravenna High School. She graduated from Joseph’s College of Beauty in Kearney,NE in 2016. After graduating cosmetology school, Lisa went on to work at Great Clips in Kearney,NE for 3 years before deciding to make a switch to Supercuts in Kearney, NE, which she had been working as a stylist for the past 4 years and managed the Kearney Supercuts location for her last 2 years. Lisa specializes in skin fades, mens cuts, women’s cuts, and has a talent with kids cuts and special needs cuts. When Lisa isn’t at the salon, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Rory, and their children, Chance, and Olivia, and their French Bulldog Darla!
Chastity (Zoe) Brown
Stylist
Chastity “Zoe” Brown is a hairstylist with roots deep in the Cornhusker State. Born and raised in western Nebraska, she now lives here in Kearney with her boyfriend (Lem), her dog (Ellie), and her cat (Nelson). Zoe’s journey in the beauty industry began with her costume design work behind the scenes of live theatre. Inspired by the magic of transforming hair, she set on a path to become a hairstylist, fueled by her love for creativity and connection.
From fashion colors to fades, with Zoe, it's not just about styling hair; it's about creating personalized looks that reflect each client's unique personality and lifestyle, making them feel their absolute best every day.

Taelyn Alvarez
Esthetician
Taelyn grew up in Gothenburg, Nebraska & moved to Hastings for college where she earned an education degree. She had been teaching littles for nearly 5 years. While she loves teaching, she has always had a love for all things skin and was continuously trying every new product that came out. She decided to pursue her passion for skin by attending Xenon Academy and graduated in November of 2023.
She loves making people feel confident and happy in their skin and is so excited to start this journey with you all.

Jordan Ausman
Owner | Stylist | Makeup Artist | Bridal Hair & Makeup Artist
Jordan grew up watching her mom and fellow owner, Jody, do hair from the time she was 3. She knew from a young age that the hair industry would be her forever job. Jordan was born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and spent majority of her childhood moving around, due to her dad being in the military. Jordan has lived in 10 different states and moved a total of 12 times in her life!
After graduating high school, Jordan attended Bella Capelli Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, and graduated in 2018. Since graduating cosmetology school Jordan has worked at 2 Supercuts, a salon in “Big Sky Country”, and a barber shop throughout her years of moving. She is also proudly Airbrush Certified and Olaplex Certified.
Jordan specializes in Men’s Cuts, Children’s Cuts, Color and Makeup. She does exceptional with kid’s cuts being that she has a toddler at home and will make your child feel at ease!
Jordan resides in Holdrege with her husband (Logan), son (Eli), daughter (Adelyn), Chocolate Lab (Moose) and two cats (Gryffin and Rowen).

Maggie Heaton
Stylist | Makeup Artist | Bridal Hair & Makeup Artist
Maggie has been in the hair industry for over 14 years. She grew up in the Kearney/Amherst area. Maggie remembers telling her dad at age 3 that she was going to “grow up and do hair” and never once changed her mind.
Maggie is married to Stephen and they have 3 daughters, Taelyn, Claire and Maren. She also has 2 sweet pups, Gizmo and Gwen.
Maggie has worked in Kearney her entire time being a cosmetologist and even managed a busy salon for a few years. She loves to do haircuts, colors and really loves formal styles/updos. Maggie discovered her passion for makeup and now excel’s in airbrush makeup as well. She especially loves weddings! Maggie loves to accommodate wedding parties of all sizes and can even travel to you!​
Jessie Stager
Esthetician
Jessie was born in Omaha and grew up in Moorefield, NE. She attended Medicine Valley Elementary/High School and graduated in 1998. She attended college in Hopkinsville, KY for a degree in Business Administration. In 2005 Jessie joined the US Army as active duty. She served as a Combat Medic/Flight Medic until 2016. After her service in the military she continued her education as a social worker. Jessie decided her passion and love for all things skincare should be brought to life. She attended Xenon Academy in Grand Island, NE.
Jessie recently moved to Kearney with her husband Andrés and loves the new city. She is ready to make each individual’s services as unique as they are.
Jessica Burns
Stylist
Jessica “Jess” Burns has lived in Kearney her entire life and now is raising two children here in the Kearney community! Jess graduated from Kearney High School in 2015. After high school she tried many variations of work between hotels and factory jobs, but nothing ever grabbed her attention like hair, makeup, and fashion! In 2021 she decided to follow her passion and see where it takes her. Jess graduated from Joseph’s College of Cosmetology in 2022 and earned her Master Educator- Cosmetology licenses in 2023.
Jess LOVES everything hair. Her favorites are haircuts (men’s and women’s), foiling, balayage and color melts! Jess also does very well with children’s haircuts, as well as her sensory sensitive friends. Jess is dedicated to her work and take’s pride in her services. She is always trying to grow in her skills and abilities. The ultimate reward is to see her clients smile!
